Native to the arid deserts and open plains of Southern Africa, the Gemsbok, also known as Oryx, is a highly specialized antelope built for extreme environments. Recognized by its long, straight horns and striking black-and-white facial markings, the Gemsbok can withstand intense heat and long periods without water by conserving moisture and regulating body temperature. Both males and females carry impressive horns, often exceeding three feet in length.

For hunters, the Gemsbok offers a challenging pursuit and an opportunity to harvest one of Africa’s most iconic and resilient plains game species.
